The Application of Meditation is designed to take the tools and practices from our Wednesday Morning Meditations and build on them. This in depth review and reflection with guide you in how to structure and apply meditation to a Yoga Therapy practice.

For this reason, enrollment in our Wednesday Morning Meditations is required for registration in The Application of Meditation.

The Wednesday Morning Meditations each month we focus our meditation on a new object. Different objects, the sun, moon, tigers, trees, bring different aspects to the meditation. Results vary with each meditation, based on your personal experience. This weekly practice allows you to learn more about meditation practices & how they work with you.

Then twice a month, directly after Meditation, in The Application of Meditation we review the blueprint for the last several Wednesday meditations. During this time we will review things like:

  • Understand the purpose of selected āsanas & prāṇāyama
  • Discuss how to adjust these tools for different experiences
  • Share the significance of the month's object
  • Notice how personal experience affects the outcome of each meditation
  • Gain insight into how to apply this blueprint concepts in the application of Yoga Therapy

What to Expect

The Application of Meditation meets the 2nd and last Wednesday of the month at 7:45 am PT (10:45 am ET) for one hour. This is directly following Wednesday Morning Meditation.

This course depends heavily on student participation. Your instructor, Chase Bossart, will review the object and tool used over the past few meditations, why he selected them and then facilitate a conversation and time of sharing how the meditations impacted you and your peers. This leads to a breakdown of how the meditations were designed and how you can apply the philosophy and structure to your own practice or your work with your own students.

What you Get

Your monthly subscription will get you access to all of the live classes for that month as well as recordings from the past year. We will automatically bill you each month, and you can cancel at any time.

All of our classes happen live via video in our virtual classroom. While it is recommended that you access the live classes via video chat, it is possible to dial in via phone too. Classes are recorded, and will be available for replay via your Student Portal within 48 hours.

Community is an important element for us at the Yoga Well Institute, for this reason you will also get access to our private online community where you can ask questions of your teacher and peers as well as share your experience with other students.

Are there prerequisites to join?
No. However, this course is designed for those who meditate daily and are looking to guide others in meditation.
Do I have to join Wednesday Morning Meditations too?
Yes. This course builds on the concepts explored in our weekly guided meditations, you will not be able to follow this class without also attending the Meditations.
How do I sign up for Wednesday Morning Meditations?
When you click ENROLL NOW you will be able to choose if you need to add both classes or just one (some people are already enrolled in Meditations and just wanting to add this class).
What if I don't like it?
You can cancel at any time. You will also have access to our Private Community to ask questions.

In order to create change within, you must commit to regular practice. Our Weekly Morning Meditations are designed to support you in this commitment.

This practice will guide you towards inner calm & deeper focus. With focus, you are able to bring yourself back to balance. As you continue this work, you are able to maintain a more positive state of wellbeing.
